so I'm in New Zealand, and I love everything about this place, except that she's not with me..............I miss Boone so much...........i'm miserable without her........I've met a lot of great people here.........for instance Mike.........he's an awesome guy, a lot of his favorite bands are guys that I've played shows with (like Sinai Beach) but he's a great guy.,....he drove me through Flaxmere............which is the bad part of Hastings..........There are all kinds of gangs, Mongrol Mob, Bloods, Crips, Black Power, and lots more, it's horrible, there is SOO much crime in that part of town, it's pretty creepy driving through there.........they all stare at you and jump at you.......they are well know for random stabbings, shoot outs, auto theft....they'll just walk up into a party and stab somebody to death to get accepted in the gang...........it's sad........I miss my family incredibly......I'm pretty ready to go home........another 13 hour plane ride.........to L.A. which will result in a 4 hour layover, that leads to another 5 hour plane ride...the Jet Lag is the worst, I'm barely caught up on New Zealand time......we're a whole day ahead.............(**BOONE- I can't write or check e-mails anymore.........nor can I go online.........so just make comments on my journals, if you wanna communicate........it's about 10:30 here now............which means it's probably about 6:30 this morning for you, that's whackaz.....[New Zealand slang]) I've definately picked up on the accent a whole lot.......some of the other guys have too...I'm gonna come home and have a full on Kiwi accent.............yeah right.............well, I'm gonna go ahead and get some sleep, I have to go into a school tomorrow.......i'm also pretty tired...............
