Cowboys & Aliens review
A tale of a man with no memory, lost in an Arizona town soon finds himself in a battle with those of another world...literally. I expected more from this film considering all the big names in it and the fact that it's a Spielberg/Favreau film. I went into feeling really excited and it started off good, intriguing. As it went on, I grew bored. I began to notice many potholes in the storyline. The acting was convincing and the aliens were cool to look at. It's like Predators meets the wild west. However, it fell short of impressive to me. I felt there could have been more put into it. There was not much depth and the character development wasn't too notable. In the end, I was confused and left hanging because I expected more from it. A unique idea that was executed poorly.
