Board games
Having joined up with a Board Games group called Portsmouth on Board and also having been playing lots of Mah Jongg with friends at the pub on Monday evenings, I decided it was time to start accumulating a collection of games of my own.
So far, apart from a set of Mah Jongg tiles of my own I've bought or obtained the following:
Cosmic Encounter
Settlers of Catan
Lord of the Rings
Ticket to Ride
Kremlin (on loan from a friend)
Smuggle
Apples to Apples (thanks to Watervole for the last two)
Alhambra
Guillotine
and I've just added Oregon and Carcassonne to the list as they arrived today :-)
I'm also in touch with someone who has a copy of Volle Hutte (Full House, a game where you build and run a cafe) which I hope to pick up or have them send to me in a few days.
I'm not sure what's next, but I'm thinking of perhaps Stone Age.
Ok, not quite as many as Watervole has, but it's a start :-)
