I write, of course, in ironic response to HST's suicide note. For he wrote then in February and I write now in September. As far as suicide notes go, it is a good one. Certainly it ranks among the world's best. After all, not many people leave behind good literature as a suicide note; and though I doubt I could find any statistics on it, I suspect that very few suicide notes have titles and even fewer have funny titles. And then how many of those end with a sketch of a "happy heart"?
For the rest of us, football season has begun. The Colts look pretty good and HST would be happy about that, though I wonder how he would've felt about Moss playing for the Raiders. They won't make it all the way, but I'm looking forward to watching the Chiefs play this year. With Johnson and Holmes both in the backfield, their running game is bound to be incredible. The Saints are more like the Nomads for now, while the Superdome is fucked.
Eh, fuck it. I'm out for now. I can't concentrate on this.
