Dear Sean,
I can't recall having a busier summer than this one, although that has not translated into much personal productivity. We expected to be done laying the groundwork for 23 by now, but Breccia's album got pushed back. I talked to Jeff yesterday. He was on his way back to NOLA with Joel A, who was going to record his percussion tracks before the final mix. As soon as that is done, my project is next in line. I now hope to have it out by my birthday. I expect Jeff to be so highly involved that he will likely need to be given songwriting credits. It is also likely that Joel A could make an appearance on drums (or at least that's what I'm gunning for).
Until then, I shall be busy helping out Breccia. They are headlining a huge event in NOLA and I'll be around to run the lights (and thankfully too -- I'd much rather get in as one of the crew than have to pay the cover for this show). We are also discussing my appearance in the new video. I still haven't watched the hour of footage of Steve and I talking that was shot for the Breccia documentary.
I just finished up my two new songs, "My Sin As Song" and "City Limits." I'm getting conflicted about what to do with my album idea. New material is piling up and new ideas are forming. It will be hard to wait on them.
I talked to Cookie the other day and she was doing fine. I'm pretty tired and don't have all that much to say. Hope you're doing well.
