there's something about being really tired that always makes me emotional... but this takes the cake and i need to release crap i think.
so i worked from 8pm-6:30am at american eagle tonight. and it really wasn't all that bad, though i complained like it was the entire time... but somewhere through the night i realized it had become Christmas eve... and that i would be alone from the time i left there untill sunday morning when i go back there.
anyway, sarah came up to me when i was cleaning up near the end of the night and told me that her and pat wanted me to go home. they offered me some extra time off to go spend a day, and to even give me some money to make it on since i didnt have any cash... but i would have felt bad... and i've only been there two weeks so it seemed a little odd that they'd offer something like that to me only knowing me about 80 hours, really. to be absolutely honest... it really got to me. i wasnt feeling sorry for myself... or over-joyed about the idea... but it was just such a nice thing for someone to do that i was choking back tears the whole time (untill i got to the car, of course... which is when the emotional doodoo hit the fan and i lost it.)
the whole way home i thought about people i should call or text on Christmas day to wish them happy holidays... but i'm a little more interested to see who would call me, knowing that i'll be by myself. like i said in the subject... this isnt an outburst in hopes that it will catch peoples eye and they'll be guilt tripped into calling me... but i seriously wonder if people like my mother, grandparents, and uncle will find time to pick up the phone.
or if someones voice i havent heard in months will strike my ear for the first time....
and if i'll love them for thinking of me... or hate them for finding no reason to dail me up other than feeling sorry for me.
at any rate...
Merry Christmas everyone!
and i'll be sure to catch up once school gets back in and everything returns to normal.
