So I think I've gotten sick, in a long line of dissapointments. OK, maybe not LONG but last night my grandma had a fall and is at the hospital. As far as I can tell she'll be alright, but it's scary and a huge burden on my mom. We bought her a cat just 2 days ago. The cat's name is "Cali" but I just referred to it as Grandma 2. Cali is now at our house, and I'm about to go check on her after I finish this. Also, Matt and I were misled when we tried to rent X-Men Legends 2. Hollywood said they had it, but upon arrival, it wasn't there. The guy was just standing around talking to his friends too, and didn't seem to be the least bit concerned that he fucked up and wasted our time. I'm not normally that guy that complains, but I think this time warrants it.
That's all for now. I'm going back to bed.

- blink 182:
This band has probably "changed my life" in the sense that they got me into alternative/punk bands, and more importantly, KGRG, which is where I met most of the people in my life today. - conversations:
Rather self explanatory, but I like to specify "conversations" over arguments. Arguments are great too, and if you know me you know I'm argument prone, but I think it's so much better when two opposing sides can talk about issues without getting defensive, or feel the need to be right. - drunken board games:
Probably one of the greatest combinations in life. I love board games, and drinking makes them much more fun. Is it stupid? Yeah, probably but I have more fun doing that than going to a bar anyway. - grocery store chinese food:
When my mom used to buy China Express from Safeway, that was like the best thing a kid could hope for, because she didn't believe in fast food, which is what most kids crave.
Now, in my post-veg stage of life, I get the Chow Mein from Thriftway on a near-daily basis because it's right across from work, and it is cheap and delicious. - kevin smith:
Kevin Smith makes great movies, and yet, I don't know if I consider him some great writer or director. I don't actually know how much "talent" he has in the traditional sense, but he's a hilarious person. - oasis:
How can you not love the band that gave us "Wonderwall"? - radio:
Yeah.. This is less and less a personal pursuit, but when I listen to radio now I still think of it in a "hungry DJ" mindset, and try to figure out what's going on behind the scenes, and radio has made me a significantly happier person, so that's something to think about. - scratcher tickets:
Yes! This is one of my new favorite past times. I don't know why, maybe it's because I've been rather successful with them, but I just think they're cheap entertainment and beat the casino any day of the week. - the ukc:
The town where I live. Unincorporated King County, for those not familiar. Even though I have a mailing address of Kent, I don't actually live within Kent city limits, so my area is just dubbed (by me) "the UKC". - walking in the rain:
Something quite refreshing about that smell. People always seem so concerned about getting hit by rain, but really is it even a bad sensation? I like it sometimes, and it's kind of romantic.
