black friday
Thanksgiving was so nice yesterday. It felt great to be surrounded by Jay's family and by people who really love and support us. I'm slowly starting to feel better and better about things, I know this will all work out.
This morning I went Black Friday shopping! Reasha and I hit up Walmart, Old Navy, Target, and the Solomon Pond Mall. I was so pissed off at Walmart. We got there at 4:50am since the store was supposed to open at 5am....well we got there and people we're already leaving the store with their purchases before 5am! I really wanted to buy this nice Samsung camcorder, it was going to be mine and Jay's gift to each other for the babies. But the store was sold out and it was a complete mad house there.
From Walmart we went to Old Navy and I got a few small gifts for Jay, just some shirts and slippers. We also hit up Target where I got a lot of nice stocking stuffers. Finally we went to the mall and I scored. I got presents for Emrie, Thatcher, and Brandon, a clearance maternity shirt for myself, and some aromatherapy stuff to help me sleep.
When I finally got home from shopping I started to look at different camcorders and Walmart actually ended up restocking their website! The camcorder I wanted was sold out on the sit by 3:50am...well I just bought it now at the same $150 price! I am so psyched.
