happy v-day!
Happy Valentine's Day! Jay and I just got home from a delicious dinner at Incontro's. We really wined and dined ourselves (I ginger aled myself) and ordered whatever we wanted.
We got some amazing bruschetta as an appetizer and Jay got a huge bowl of lobster bisque as a second appetizer just for himself. For our main meal I got the Parpadella Fungi - mushrooms, asparagus, roasted garlic and parmesan cream and Jay got the Linguini Fruitti Di Mare - mussels, clams, shrimp, scallop, calamari, and spicy pomodoro sauce. We both only ate half since I knew I wanted some dessert. We shared a nice dish of chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate and strawberry mousse.
Incontro's is just so nice and we always have an amazing time there. My parents' got us a gift certificate for Christmas so we used that to cover the night. Unfortunately we didn't have any cash to cover the tip and couldn't use a credit card. We felt so bad just leaving without tipping, but we promised our waitress that we were going to run to a ATM and come back. I don't think she believed us, but sure enough we were back 10 minutes later and she was extremely grateful.
