I'm trying to join the clothdiapering community, but they have moderated membership. I'm currently on the Hold list since I only just created this journal in September. 4 of you are in this community (angelrose, mop_top417, lilg82882, ochenpryatna) and I was wondering if someone could vouch for me? I've been in contact with one of the moderators on my Friend's Only page: cloth diapering

Serious about cloth diapering or about the community not accepting me right away?

Jay and I have decided to cloth diaper...it'll save us a good $2000 in diapers a year.

No I totally get the cloth thing and if anyone can manage that, its you. I am flabergasted at the community not accepting ppl!!! Who do they think they are??

It says on their page that I guess they had a huge issue with fraudulent sales in the community. So they started cleaning their member list and now are very strict about accepting new people. They said they were questioning me since my journal is new as of September (although I have 60ish entries) and wanted to know if I had any ebay feedback or anything. I explained I wasn't there to sell, but to get more info.

I requested to join a week ago and just heard back that I'm on the hold list because my journal is too new and they don't know enough about me.

I applied last April! I don't know why they didn't want me. Turned me off to the whole thing, to be honest.

it took awhile to get accepted for me! They are really picky who they let in b/c they don't want scamming going on there.
I will totally vouch for you :) Where should I go to say something?

Never mind I will go the post they left :)
ETA ok comment left! I am so excited you are going to cloth diaper :) Or are at least considering it
