It's been a super busy week!

This past weekend I flew down to North Carolina with Katherine and the kids to go visit my parents. The flight was awesome both ways and for the most part we had a lot of fun. The kids did great with my dad, but Colton was terrified of my mom and never let him hold her. While there we went to 3 wineries, out to eat twice, went swimming, and went to Jumpin Jax twice.

Jay's off from work this week and we've been having a family staycation. I got home late Monday night from my parents' house and family fun started Tuesday by going to the New England Aquarium. This kids were kind of mediocre about it. They didn't love the aquarium, but it was a good time. The train ride there and back sucked though. Honestly the best part about the aquarium was that Jay's friend Chris from AA was also there with his family and I finally got to meet him. Jay talks about him all the time and I've really been wanting to meet him.

Yesterday we went to the Providence Children's Museum and that was a blast! There were so many different things for the kids to do and totally crawler friendly. It took us about 40 minutes to get there and the whole day just worked out really well. Today we went to Hopkinton State Park so the kids could have their first beach experiance. Daphne loved the sand and swimming in the water. Colton had fun finding rocks and trying to eat them! We still have planned a trip to the Ecotarium for tomorrow and the zoo on Saturday if Irene doesn't hit before then.
