Chuck woke up feeling better than he had in a long time. He knew it was in no small part to the people that kept badgering him, and he probably owed a few of them some apologies, but he could save that for later. Right now he was going to relax and play some video games, and not focus on how much money got dropped into his various bank accounts

"Oh, thank fuck, someone's around to entertain me," Hannibal said, stopping in Chuck's open door. "I thought I might have to read or something."

Chuck smirked, but kept his eyes on the game rather than turning to look at Hannibal. "Quit pretending you know how to read."

"Um, dirty magazines count as reading," Hannibal said, inviting himself in because he could. "They provide more educational content than me reading Great Expectations ever could."

"You only say that because you haven't run into any crazy old biddies who want to ruin your life yet," Chuck said. "If you're looking for something to do I could always send you to the bar to clean."

"Don't be a bitchy boss," Hannibal said, making a face and glancing at the video games. "Isn't that Tino's job?"

"I'm not exactly sure what's in his job description," Chuck said, pausing the game for a moment. "I think he just does everything because he thinks I'm going to fire him."

"He's weird." Because stating the obvious needed to be done. "I guess he's useful though. Always good to have someone to put the zombies back together or gross crap like that."

Chuck snickered when he heard about the zombies. "Do you do anything there?"

"Hey, one shift so far," Hannibal said. "I served people. Angela came to visit and made out with me some. Tino was irritated with me for some reason. I mopped!"

"Ooooh mopping. I should give you a raise." Okay, no he wouldn't. "Tino doesn't like anybody. But he's easy enough to ignore."

"Hey, I'll take not having to wear a hairnet and getting to skim alcohol off the top," he decided. "No raise needed. It was the bar or I was gonna end up in one of those burger joints."

"Gross," Chuck said, wrinkling up his nose. "I can't even eat in one of those places."

"Why not?" Hannibal wondered. "The grease or the greasy servers?"

[rocksthescarf]

"Both," Chuck said. "And that food is so over-processed. I can't stomach it."

"Please don't tell me you eat sushi all the time and that's it," Hannibal said, making a face. "I'll tell you you have worms by now."

Chuck rolled his eyes. "Civilized people know that sushi can't hurt you. And, no, that's not all I eat."
