Room 314 - Early Saturday Morning

Apr 11, 2009 09:46

Last night had been...interesting. Chuck had fun, yes, and he didn't regret anything that happened at all, no matter how awkward it felt after. It just gave him a lot to think about. He didn't like that too much. Having stuff to think about was no good. Thinking meant that there wasn't much sleep going on and no sleep meant that Chuck wasn't in the ( Read more... )

Unfortunately for Chuck, Serena had reached his room before she could reach her mother's.

Chuck would probably feel somebody crawling up onto the bed.

Oh, and he'd probably feel the same somebody pouncing on him.

"What the--" Chuck pulled the covers over his head to stare at the pouncer. Then he groaned.

Great. Everybody had turned into kids again. Why did this island hate him?

"Hi."

"Hi Daddy!" Serena decided to take this chance to put tackle her dad and put her arms around him for a hug.

Daddy?!

Oh god, Chuck might be having a panic attack.

"W-what?" Chuck pulled the little girl off of him because, oh my god, he needed to breathe. Was this room getting smaller? What the hell? "What?"

Yeah Chuck wasn't going to get any sleep any time soon.

Mary had found Chuck's room first because it was closer than her other Dad's and also Chuck was probably less likely to yell at her for messing with a portal.

She wandered into his room with an absent, "Hi Dad."

Oh, god. It was another one. He was still actually on the relieved side still. It was entirely possible for Chuck to have real kids claiming to be his. That would have been way worse than whatever this is.

"You're bigger than the other one," Chuck noticed. By this time he was just laying on his bed, listening for the terrified screams of his fellow students.

"Other one?" Mary asked, cocking her head to the side in confusion.

Chuck narrowed his eyes. That looked familiar. There was no denying that this kid was probably his, she looked like him, after all. But there was something else familiar too.

"Yeah. There was someone else calling me Dad earlier," Chuck said. "She was tinier than you."

Chuck really needed to learn to lock his door.

Or teach whichever kid had been in last to close it properly. Either way.

Otherwise this was just going to keep happening. Poor Chuck. He would've got jumped on, if only Nate had been big enough to make it up onto that huge bed. Since he wasn't he was just going to be greeted by a gleeful whisper of, "Daddy!" and a scrambling attempt at getting up there.

Chuck needed to learn how to use a condom, that's what he needed to do. Though in his defense, Mary had been Dean's stupid fault. Really.

He sighed, sat up and decided that there was in no way he was going to have a peaceful weekend. At least his kids were cute.

"Need a little help?" Chuck asked the kid.

"Uh huh." He nodded emphatically stretching up towards Chuck. "Up, daddy, UP!" At least the kid demanded things with a smile. That was something.

"Okay, okay," Chuck said, leaning over so he could pick Nate up and place him onto the bed. He frowned when he saw what the kid was wearing. "You're not another Winchester, are you?"

"Daaaaaaddy!" There was a muffled knocking. Knocking because she'd been told to knock before coming into Daddy's bedroom, muffled because her hands were full and she was kicking it with her shoe. "Mommy? I made you breakfast!"

"You gotta be kidding me," Chuck mumbled as he rolled out of bed.

Now, calm down, Chuck. It could be someone else's kid.

Chuck walked over and opened the door, staring down at yet another little kid. And, dammit, this one looked like him too.

"Hi, Daddy! I made breakfast," she repeated, holding it up. Yes, it was a cake. A very lopsided cake, with jelly and powdered sugar for frosting, and an odd sort of spicy scent to it. "Is Mommy here?" she added, trying to peer around him.

Sometimes she wasn't. Sometimes somebody else was there. That was okay as long as they didn't take her Daddy's cake.

"Uh, no. No Mommy here," Chuck said, once again relieved to hear the word 'mommy' come out of a kid's mouth. He reached down to take the very messy looking cake. "You want to come in?"
