Here's part of my photography project as promised:
Aren't I quick?
Look into my eyes!
This one's just weird (me messing with white balance)
Personality shot
What a face
This one turned out well, but the f-stop should have been higher

Mein Fuhrer! I can walk!
The whole point of the project was to experiment with the cameras a little bit and mess with settings like F-Stop, Shutter Speed, White Balance, Exposure, Natural/Unnatural light, Wide Angle/Telephoto, Selective focus, all that stuff. And we had to include either ourselves or our personality in all the photos, thats why some of them are a little ridiculous, but they all demonstrate something learned by adjusting the camera. I wish I had my own camera, right now I have to use the ones from resource center at the school like everyone else usually does, but you can't keep them for very long.
Photoshop was pretty intense this morning. We learned a lot about paths and vectors, something I knew very little about before now. I still hate the pen tool though. For all of you photoshop savy people, you know what I mean. And last week we learned about RGB and CMYK color correction. So I must say that I'm learning quite a bit about photoshop and I'm very happy about it. I'm also very happy about having Photoshop CS2, giggidy giggidy.
My legs hurt a lot. I've done so much walking in this town, my shoes are almost worn out already. Every day I walk 20 minutes to school and 20 mins back, then depending on what else i need to do that day, I might walk for another half hour, usually carrying a backpack or a ton of groceries. I need to find a place to buy some decent shoes at a good price.
OH YEAH! and I'm buying a whistler/blackcomb season pass! For those of you lame non-skiers/snowboarders, Whistler is a town about 2 hours north of here with two mountains that are rated in the top 5 places to ski in the world. And I can get an 8 month season pass for $360, which means I'm gonna be going up there every other weekend from mid november until june. I can't wait to snowboard again and give my new board a real test. I'll never be able to ski Michigan slopes ever again.
Lesson for Today: I need a good vacation.
