Oh, how time goes by...

I don't think I need to say that its been a while since my last update. Not only was I gone for 2 weeks of camp, but I've been lazy enough to not update for about a week and a half since I got back. Ok, I actually have been kinda busy since I got home. I guess I'll just do a short briefing about my life since camp.

I came home, my parents were gone for the night, and two of their friends were staying in my house. I set up my new drum set. I did a lot of laundry. I spent a lot of time looking for an appartment. Spent graduation money on a new monitor (20 widescreen inches of LCD hottness!), a new motherboard (which took 11 straight hours to install), a power supply for my drum set, new shoes to replace the ones camp ruined, and a birthday present for my mother. I went to skutt's birthday cook-out thing. I finally decided on an appartment. I went to Skutt's hotel/casino party. I played a lot of Warcraft 3.

That's about it for my life between camp and now, however, I find that my life durring camp was a lot more interesting. I can't cover all of it right now because in all honesty, that two weeks of camp felt like more than a month. I will say just this, I wish that all of you would have had the chance to go to springhill. It's such an amazing camp. Not just really fun, but absolutely life changing. I've learned so much about God and how following His word can change your life for the better. I've been to springhill for 10 years now and I've seen amazing things happen to people at that camp. Take Ben for example. I told you how much he pissed me off before camp and it was all because I saw his life going straight downhill and he didn't care at all. I can't tell you exactly what happend to ben at camp, but I do know that he found God, and he's decided to change his life for Christ. Not only that, but he gave up the rest of his summer to serve God at springhill. 3 weeks ago, I couldn't even bear to be around ben, and now I can't wait to see what God will do in his life. Its the greatest feeling in the world to see God working in people's lives, and I feel so blessed that God is working in my life now more than ever before. But loving God is not just about prayer and good morals. God calls us to spread his word and to tell everyone about him. Since I leave for Vancouver on the 19th, I can't think of a better time to do that than now. So I ask those of you who may be going through a rough part of your life, or even those of you who aren't, ask yourself where you stand with God. You might not even know anything about God, but if you're at all interested, even the least bit, don't hesitate to pick up the bible and read something, or ask me about it. I can't think of anything I've needed more in my life than God, and I'd love to leave midland knowing that all my friends have found God as well.

"God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that all who believe in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16
