- Friday: Cosmic bowling, avec le frat. Can I just say, that I am not a bowler (the shoes really aren't my thing), but this was a lot of fun. I see it in le crew's near future.
- Saturday: Being "little sibs" weekend here at UK, Sarah's 3 little brothers were here. Therefore, we cooked them dinner (scratch, I watched dinner being cooked), played a movie trivia game, and were exposed to Derek's pubic hair. Long story. Apparently.
- Sunday: First concert as a member of UK Women's Choir. It was pretty cool, really laid back (aka in a church, with a bunch of old people, because, let's face it...who else goes to church? ha...jk...megan does.) I am really excited for you guys to come up for the major concert though (thats the Friday night before Thunder), not only to see the Women's Choir, but our male acapella singing group (cleverly entitled the acoustiKats) is amazing. They sang Tonic's "if you could only see", and maroon 5 "she will be loved"...not joking, I was swooning.
- Sunday Night: Dyed hair, (Chris is now dark(ish) brown, with bright red (we're talking rose red) highlights, and Sarah got blonde highlights). They both look awesome, if I do say so myself. Got drunk with Derek, and basically spent the night making our lists of "Bitches to Cut". Among the more funny ones are Norbert the Cat, the entire cast of Judging Amy, dinos, the stairmaster, lil john, and Geoge W. Speaking of bitches to cut: I am apparently a whore. ha. You know what? I've decided (if related post was in fact about me) that I'm not going to care. Because if I cared what this asshole thought of me, we would have bigger problems than me being a whore of any kind.
- Ordered cheese sticks.
- Today, I got an interview to be an RA next year!! This is tres exciting, considering there are 300 applicants, 60 positions, some people have already been cut, and some people are on waitlists for interviews. That means this Saturday for an hour I will be getting grilled- but I should do fine. Managing groups of girls (gay men, etc) is kind of my thing.
- This thursday and friday: Also super exciting, going on tour! The choir is touring Cincy for a couple of days, so I get to miss classes- excused. Sweet. Going to see "Carousel" on Saturday. It should be awesome.
- Bought "The Babysitter's Club" on DVD today for $5. That was pretty much a highlight.
So yes, all. Even though Grey's Anatomy was a rerun, life does in fact go on, and as the sands in the hour glass turn, these are the days of our lives....
Love you all! Hope everyone is super awesome, healthy, confident and carefree!
