(no subject)
So I'm still in school. I have another semester after this which totally sucks cause I am so ready to be done with classes that i could care less about. Alas, 4 more courses in the fall and I am finished college. I'll probably want to go to grad school, but i won't cause i already owes plenty of money. Going to an out of state school was an awesome idea.
Anyway! I got promoted at my job. I do event planning for the restaurant now which means i get to work 40 hours a week, which is great because I've been totally broke for like over a year now. And you know this could turn into an actual career. I really like it and my boss told me if things are working out it could turn into a salaried position which is also awesome. And I feel important when i get to meet with "clients". I ate cheesesteak soup from there the other day...so good yet so disgusting.
I moved out of my house in south philly after a series of events including mice on my bed. I live with Mike now (not officially because i still pay rent at my other house and don't want his roommates to think otherwise). We are moving in together in May/June so that's exciting. We're looking in old city/washington square/northern liberties because it's close to mike's work and we share my car. P.S. we have to enter and exit through the passenger side door now because it was both broken into and hit by a car last week. I've spent a thousand dollars on broken windows this year. So, needless to say I can't wait to move away from craaaack city! We have a two year plan to buy a house in New Jersey cause' I'm tired of the city and god knows the rest of Pennsylvania sucks. I hope that works out for us.
That's pretty much what my life consists of. Oh, Danielle and I went to the movies the other day to see He's Just Not That Into You and one of the 30 young black girls behind us said "I want a white man" I liked that.
