It's so dark and disgusting out right now. I wish i was still in bed and not at work. I kinda like it though, I'm pretty much tired of summer. I want fall clothes. I'm sitting and waiting for the perfect time to call Temple financial services and ask them to stop threatening to take my classes away for not paying my bill on time. As i do every semester. It's my favorite way to start the school year. And I am starting another school year on Monday! I'm excited for everyone to be back on campus. It's been fairly empty all summer. I've been living with three of my roommates and two more move in this Friday. Hopefully our lack of food, fun, and general cleanliness will improve once we're all together and there every day.
I've been working two jobs all summer. Full time at my mom's office doing filing during the day and then part time at the Body Shop at night. And this week I have both jobs every day. So a nice 5 days of 12 hour shifts to top off my last week of Summer. I need to the money anyway. My only back up plan is calling Q102 every morning in an attempt to win $1,000. It will be nice to go back to school and only work hopefully 4 days a week. I still have yet to get a job in the city, but plan to eventually because i can't afford to drive anymore. I'm looking for an internship too so that should take away from my work time. I already started writing for Temple News' first issue this year, because I'm in desperate need of clips. I'm counting on Philly Style Magazine to give me a position.
My class schedule this semester leaves little to be desired. I have a dreaded 8:40 which i tried to avoid but it ended up being necessary.
-Journalism and the Law
-Intro to Anthropology
-Audio Visual News Gathering
-Intellectual Heritage
-And my personal favorite, Arts of Asia, because i was banned from Art History for some reason.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I'm done at 2:30 and Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm done at 11:30, so that's sweet.
I'm going to see Superbad tonight with Mike and his roommates. I'm exciiiited. And one last update on my life: I love High School Musical.
