it has been SOOOOO long
So, alot has been going on lately. I had a ladies weekend and drove to Illinois for my cousin's baby shower. I love my family. It's so funny how parts of us are SUPER close and other people I don't ever see.... We had fun to say the least.
Scott and I are well on our way to buy our first house. Our goal is to purchase at the end or by the end of 2009. We could do it now, but instead we're paying off and saving more so that when the time is right we are more than ready for any unexpected fees or what have you. Plus, neither of us want to be house poor.
I'm planning on redoing our dinning room table. We had one of those scented oil & reeds that leaked all over the table during our move into the apartment. Because of the leak, the finish from our table top was stripped off. EVIL SCENTED OIL!!! But I'm looking into Crackling. We have a very eclectic & colorful decor theme in our Apartment and think this would only add to it!! Eventually I would like to repaint the chairs so that each is a different color as well!!
So much to do... So little time ;o)
Aside from the big craft stuff I have been pretty diligent about my small artsy fartsy stuff. Making bows & Tutus!! They're sooo stinkin' cute!! And I've FINALLY got back into drawing!! Colored pencil are my all-time fave!!! But, I have picked up colored pencils that are also Watercolor and am experimenting... So far so good!! I like the affect. Softened lines yet very much distinguishable!! Now to get back to school and finish my art degree.....
