They gave me an assignment, I'll be working at McChord Air Force Base in Washington state. Just south of tacoma, only a hundred miles from canada, beautiful overcast skies, pacific breeze, 2000 miles away from anything I've ever known. Only being sent overseas could have been better.

probably guarding the gate when i first get there, then get bumped up to flight line security or maybe even patroling. No instructors have elaborated on what the base is like, they only talk about las vegas and florida.
