[Filtered to Friends]

Beckett's funeral was this morning. It shouldn't surprise me that so many people turned up, but honestly? I think the entire town of Paisley was in that church. And his mom is exactly as he described her. Warm and welcoming and pure as the driven snow.

It was...good. To sit with his family and friends and hear what he was like before I met him. Like seeing something come full circle.

There were so many people there, I didn't quite know what to do with myself. I felt like an outsider, like I didn't belong. An intruder on their grief. But the service was good. It helps to know that other people are mourning for him too. And from the stories I heard, every single person there knew him personally.

I'm pretty sure I saw Martha's ship in the field next to our B&B, but I haven't seen her or Sheppard since. If they show up at breakfast tomorrow, do you want me to say hi for you?
