Man, how great life is once you are able to stop working and able to start travelling!

We finished up in London a couple of weeks ago, and began with the V Festival! Bands and camping, it's not really possible to have a bad time hey. Saturday was okay, the bands weren't that great (bar the Grates, the Dears and Groove Armada), and it rained quite a bit. Luckily we bought a sturdier tent in Leeds and got hold of some gumboots. Hey mudbath! Sunday though meant much better bands (including Magic Numbers, Bloc Party, The Go! Team, Beck, Radiohead, Kasabian) and sunny weather all day! Such a great way to end it all, but please, nobody ever make me go near a portaloo, person stroking my arm offering me drugs or fried food again.

Suddenly the V Festival was over, our coach was late and we found ourselves stuck in Leeds having missed our train. This city has now been renamed 'the city with no internet'. Seriously. So frustrating. After a few phonecalls to our ex-roomie (the dude is always on the couch playing online poker) we accepted that there was no option other than to pay £70 for new train tickets to Edinburgh. Snap.

Edinburgh was great though, we arrived during the Fringe Festival, T on the Fringe, and the tattoo. Apparently the population triples around this time, so the streets are always raging and full of people having a great time. One night it was full of me running around barefoot, drunk and raging after my thongs broke in the middle of a dancefloor and I had to get shoes from the hostel. Yeahhh, although, if there was nothing to do (or more precisely, we had no money) it was just a beautiful and amazing city to explore.

So homies, we leave for tour tomorrow, and I'm paranoid some dodgy european will steal my camera and/or ipod, so i started a Flikr account for safekeeping of my images (be prepared that it's lacking in photos and quite out of order).

All the cool kids were doing it
