If you ever have to work behind a bar on a Saturday night for an 'Elvis night', dear lord, make sure you have an awesome bar manager who lets you get hideously drunk to help ease the pain. I think I smashed a few too many glasses, especially whilst 'ironic dancing' with said bar manager in the midst of clearing glasses. Also, make sure your workmates (called Nikki) have eaten during the day and can handle their alcohol. I hurt my knee commando rolling over the pass and through the kitchen to steal her some southern fried chicken fillets. That would make some amusing CCTV footage I think!
So yes, the weekend was good fun! No matter how much I intend to be productive with my Sundays and complete the long list of touristy things that I need to do, I always seem to end up sitting on the couch being remote control nazi. My life is becoming a big sleep deprived hangover.
If feels pretty crazy that there's less than three weeks until we leave London! I'm still not entirely sure if this makes me happy or sad. I've met some great people over here and found lots of exciting new things to see and do, but really...
My London life = one shitty bar job, one office job where everyone has nice accents and some man that I don't like (who happens to sound just like Hugh Grant) stole my stapler. Although, my boss is really nice to me and telling her I was leaving early to 'go home' felt as though I was breaking up with her.
Leaving London =
+ V festival!
+ Edinburgh!
+ Little more party in London!
+ Northern European tour!
+ Spain!
+ Farewells to London!
+ Home!
Yeah, I think it makes me happy.
