Who is Gormogon? Or the Bones related ramblings of a crazed Conspiracy theorist.

Okie dokie kiddos. Here we go again.

I've been watching a lot of Bones. And I mean a LOT of BONES. You have no idea. And I'm starting to form some ideas as to who Gormogon is.

Now, I know that a lot of people think that it's Dr. Sweets. I don't think so.
One) Because I think he's far too awesome to be a psycho.
Two) He's not old enough. Gormogon has got to be in his 40s. Or at least his late 30s. Sweets is what? 22? 25? That's not nearly old enough.
But, let's go ahead and examine the things that hint that he's Gormogon. Just for fun.
  1. Sweets is a very skinny man
  2. He came up with the duo thing.
  3. He's VERY excited about working the case.
  4. They didn't introduce him until the whole Gormogon thing started.
  5. When he's alone with Jack it sounds very much like he might be trying to recruite Hodgins.
  6. When he tells Brennan that it must be killing Gormogon that she has the skeleton he has this very creepy look.

Also, as to the whole "Biker Gormogon looked like a woman" thing. Yeah, I can agree with that. It was either a woman or a very skinny man. But that proves nothing. There's no hard evidence that supports that. Just a lot of guessing. Especially since Sweets says that the apprentice they're looking for is a teenager. A teenage boy could be that small.

It has also been said that either Zach or Jack could be Gormogon. Angela even accused Jack.
That theory has some ground to stand on. Of course, it could be a red herring. But whatever. Let's look at it for a minute.

  1. Who is overly paranoid about secret socities and conspiracy theories? Answer: Hodgins.
  2. Who seems to know everything about the Gormogons? Answer: Hodgins again.

And just think about it, if it had to be somebody in the lab he's the most likely suspect.

Moving right along. Zach as Gormogon.

  1. The boy did spend time in Iraq. PTSD can cause people to do horriffic things.
  2. He's also a very skinny man.
  3. The guy who jumped out of the closet did somewhat resemble Zach.
  4. Zach has been behaving uncharacteristically. "King of the lab".

But that's all I've got for Zach.

Here's a kicker of an idea. It could be Russ Brennan. I mean, given the hints that have been dropped about everybody else it would seem kind of illogical to make one of them be Gormogon.

  1. We know that Arthur Graves had access to at risk children, children in social services. Who has a history with child services? Russ. As he and Temperance were in the system.
  2. We don't see Russ in the episode (Knight on the grid) until after we last see Gormogon.
  3. Russ is also a skinny man.
  4. Russ is just about the right age to be Gormogon.
  5. This is the only person being Gormogon that would come as a complete shock.

Right. Now, moving on the the kid in the closet at the end of Knight on the grid. I don't think that was Gormogon. I think it was his apprentice. Because it looked too young to be G. But Sweets says that the apprentice is a teen. In the words of Danny Messer. "Boom." There ya go. Creepy kid in closet explained.

Oh, and the hissing from Graves can be attributed from the mental disorders that arise from eating human flesh. =D
Boom, done. I am a genius. =)

Right. I have some new info. Like the fact that it's not Sweets. And Russ was caught BEFORE they had the run in with "Gorgonzola". (As Booth says.)
Also, someone suggested that Hodgins could be the final victim. And with the rumors of TJ wanting to leave the show I'd say that sounds like a possibility.
Also, new ideas as to who it could be.

Since I've been told that it;s not someone "out in the world" that means it's a character we've seen before but that fell by the wayside.

Bancroft.
Sully.

That's all I can think of right now.

And in real life. Anybody who was wondering how my "PLEASE LET ME GO TO SIX FLAGS" speech worked out it worked out fine. This time next week Grace & I will be hanging out in San Antonio with Batman & Robin. WHOO!!!

On a sad note. One of my mice died again. it was Dean.
Here's the odd thing. I could have sworn this morning when I went in there that Sam was dead. But I picked him up and he was squirming trying to get away. But Dean was fine earlier and then he was dead. It's slightly ironic given the names of the mice. On Supernatural Sam dies and Dean sells his soul for him. Now put everything I just told you about the mice into that context. Do you see the humor there?
Oh, btw, Liberty Bell is still alive. I swear that friggin mouse is gonna live FOREVER. Just out of spite.
=D

Cheers,

Bri.
