Summary: Simon and River accidentally end up on the hunter ship Impala, where River discovers new talents, new purpose, and maybe someone she just might like. Simon only finds a brand new set of worries when he realizes River has grown up in an entirely different way than he ever could have guessed.
Reccer's notes: I'm a sucker for a good Supernatural/Firefly crossover and this one hit the spot. I really liked River and Simon's storylines, River finding her feet and Simon trying to figure out how to deal with that. Sam and River were also perfect, cautious moving forward, but just hitting it off as friends, as people who understand one another. The emotional storylines of the characters are what really drive this forward, and they all felt right on the money to me.
