Reccer's notes: Last rec was short and bleak, this one is short and sweet. This is, in its way, a classic Sam/Dean fic: it uses a supernatural predicament to show Sam and Dean as two very different people, sometimes wanting different things, always at risk of losing one another, but choosing to be together against whatever odds the universe throws at them. Understated and lovely.
