Summary: Jensen is a space captain. Jared is a space whore. When Jensen gives Jared just one chance, the kid takes it. They travel through hell and beyond, though that's partly astronomy, not metaphor. And in the end, maybe it wasn't the kid that needed saving.
Reccer's notes: A good old fashioned space adventure that also serves as a fraught yet ultimately hopeful love story. The world-building is just astounding, and ship captain Jensen's prickly POV pulls us right into the action. By the end, you'll be rooting for Jared and Jensen, and you can't ask for much more in a J2 AU fic.
Just as great is cassiopeia7's colorful, visceral art throughout the fic, that helps the reader visualize the wild ride.
