Reccer's notes: I just recced this fic, written for the sassy_minibang challenge, and that rec would be incomplete without this one, as art and fic complement one another so beautifully. I am especially in love with the title image: the clever placing and font of the title draw on the cracky B-movie aspect of the fic's premise, but the bleakness and claustrophobia of the setting, the way the perspective highlights Jared's vulnerability, stress the real emotion that accompanies the fantastic elements of the story.
