Reccer's notes: There's something mesmerizing about Sam going darkside in this fic; it's watching something terrible unfold and thinking why not?. I love Gabriel's transition from fun-loving trickster to Gabriel, the Archangel, the Messenger, a reminder of what he was made to be. Both Sam and Cas's individual transformations are both amazing and horrifying to watch.
