Reccer's notes: Dean/Victor is one of my favorite pairing; they are like this perfect couple that could have been, everything already there in their brief interaction before and after Victor knew about the hunting world. This fic follows a sweet path of what-if, explores the relationship during one of the most complicated and hard times in canon, and does it with a strong Victor characterization and and heartbreaking Dean's. The twist at the end left me almost in tears.
