[Short excerpt]Adrianne put on a smile, but it was very clearly a moviestar faking-it smile, and it made Genevieve feel at the same time sad - that Adrianne had that smile and could put it on so easily when she didn't feel it - and also sort of selfishly glad, because the contrast now made it pretty obvious that all the smiles Genevieve had gotten from her so far had been real ones.
