So, it appears you have stumbled upon my journal. Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste
My name is Ashley.
I write just like I talk, which may or may not be my attempt to ripoff Chuck Klosterman's style of writing, and my entries consist of me basically just rambling about my life. Family, friends, the ever present best guy friend who I'm not so secretly in love with but I don't understand why he hasn't thrown himself at me yet, the whole shebang. I also make way too many pop culture references in everything I write and say, something my English teacher continues to reprimand me for.
I'm into bands like Led Zeppelin and The Who, but Nirvana will be my favorite forever. I have a varied taste in music though, a search through my iTunes shows me that I also have a penchant for Tupac and Britney Spears. I don't watch much TV, but when I do it's to catch reruns of Dawson's Creek and That 70s Show. I've recently discovered a love for Pushing Daisies, but alas, it's days are numbered. I love movies in general, my top five would be something like: Almost Famous, Dazed and Confused, Sixteen Candles, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Titanic. And finally, my favorite books. I'm a HUGE fan of the aforementioned Mr. Klosterman, all five of his books are brilliant. I also am a secret Harry Potter nerd and much like every frustrated teen since 1951, love The Catcher in the Rye.
