Dead artists, action figures and more rp muses
Some conflicting feelings early in the morning... Okay, so it's not early NOW but that's beside the point.
First the bassist from Versailles, a Jrock band I've always been fond of, died t'other day. Is it just me or do Japanese artists seem to do this an alarming amount..?
I've fallen behind on all my boys...
LM.C's got a new PV that reminds me why I love them so much in the first place, Arashi has like... 5 (seriously guys, wtf? I feel compelled to just compile all the ones I haven't seen just so I can count them), Miyavi started his own company, got married and had a baby, Gackt went on tour, put out some new tunes and has an English movie coming out in the US soon, Hey Say Jump continues to be busy little bees and apparently have had some of their memebers split into ANOTHER group (No, seriously Johnnys knock that shit off) and as always continue to make me feel like a dirty filthy pedo. I do love the HSJ fans though... They're so cute and enthusiastic and oh my god I really am turning into a dirty old woman. /SOB
D... I don't even know. It's really freaking hard to keep track of a band with a single letter in their name. Mix Speaker's Inc. had another Western appearence I think... Like I said, I'm hopelessly behind.
Checking out the bands for AWA, we got a guy known as Omodaka and a group called Peelander-Z. Omodaka's very techno and not something I'm really that into, but he's got skills. Peelander-Z is one of those crazy silly type bands you see now and then. Really, if I can get to AWA, I'll try to go anyway, just because I haven't seen live music in FOREVER.
And now for some happy! IN SPANDEX!
Is it conceivable to build a personal cannon around short videos done by action figures? Becuase I think that's what I'm starting to do...
Speaking of Roommate Kyle, who happens to be the owner of three or so BJDs (fairly nice ones at that) has become oddly taken with my AntMan... Apparently the cast that was used for his face makes him look exactly like Dexter, the friendly neighborhood serial killer, and whenever she makes the comparison, somewhere in the back of my head, dear Scott Lang is rolling in his grave...
Also? I wanna rp Morticia Adams. Or Wednesday Adams. Especially the ones from the movies. I dunno why all my muses are female, they just are.
