WHAT COULD THIS BE?!
I know this is the most out of character thing for me to say EVER, but...
Kuroshitsuji pairng Ceil/Sebastian?
I don't really ship it.
Letting that sink in because I know there are a couple people (Especially the sushi girls and Amie-chan and Emy) who are having a "Who the fuck are you and what have you done with Pervert?" moment. But yes it is actually possible for me to NOT ship a pairing that is not only completely logical, it's so full of subtext it's practically cannon.
Not that I can't see it.
It's almost impossible to properly ship anyone else what with all the SUBTEXTSUBTEXTSUBTEXT flying around those two all the freaking time. I just really like the delicatcy of their relationship right now and how it's maturing. There's no romance. There's the obvious servant/master element. Ciel is every bit an arrogant aristocrat* and Sebastion is completely subservient to him without coming off as weak minded. It's a really interesting relationship that, while I know I would enjoy it being taken that one step further, for once I would prefer to take things as they come and watch how this particular writer handles the two in the furture.
If I hate it, I can always do what I did with the Harry Potter series: dump the cannon and stick to fannon. <3
And hey a post where I acutally talk exclusively about anime! XD I can actually see myself becoming a Kuroshitsuji fan (merch buying and everything) which disturbs me becuase all of my previous "Hey I could really get into this!" fandoms either ended at ep. 12 or have like no fanbase. Like Toradora. I'm ridiculously attachted to that show. Everytime I hear someone call Taiga "Not cute" I kind of want to slap them.** Bad enough Crunchyroll removed the original fansubs becuase the language was too strong, there's like no fanbase for this. Seriously! Where is the fanbase for this! Impatient fujoshi is impatient damn it!
Someday also I will go to bed before 3 am. I took a nap at like 6 or 7 today and woke up around 11 so NOW I'm not really that sleepy. ^^;
*which some fans hate him for. but it seems a little hypocritical to me to on the one hand rage against Gary Stues and Mary Sues and how characters need to be more diverse and beleivable, then to turn around and compeltely disregard a character who IS totally beleivable. I KNOW I probably wouldn't be able to stand the little bastard in real life, BUT he's purely a selfish human being who's been brought up to BE selfish. Yet at the same time he has his own pride and his own way of showing he cares. He's arrogant and a spoilt brat, but NEVER abusive. This redeems him in my eyes.
**Again this is another hipocrisy thing in my eyes. Taiga's personality isn't SUPPOSED TO BE CUTE! THAT'S THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT! She's another spoilt brat character that's overly violent, which is WHY she's so charming when she actually is being shy or girly. But then I get a little pissed at myself for getting so pissed at the other people for saying she wasn't cute in the first place. (throws hands up*
