How it goes..
Things are looking a little bleak of late...
It's impossible to find legitimate looking loan stuffs online, ya know? And for some reason none of SCAD's financial aid links work on this computer. (ugh) Tomorrow will be better, Emmy's dropping me off in La Pine so I can make the last desperate sweep to find a job before I jump the shuttle to Bend (how often does that thing run anyway? Somebody told me it only ran like twice a day).
I'm going to our bank that day too, to figure out what my options for loans are. I lost about a thousand dollars in scholarships because I couldn't get a 3 point, hopefully I'll be able to get a two thousand loan (on a pay of 7.50, that's about two months of full time work give or take, not counting interest..). I'll be applicable for all kinds of scholarships once I get my GPA back up, plus I'll get my original scholarship back, so I just have to make it through Fall quarter.
Other options....well... I don't really NEED two kidneys and I'm not planning on having kids anytime soon so there's always egg donating (plus its good to give back to scociety ya know?).
In other news...
My Gackt dvd is here! <33333 It's sooooooo goood! Even though it's just PVs (no special features) they're some of my favorites.
Mizerable is one of the PVs and...that one makes me giggle. It looks like something that walked out of a SCIFI channel original movie and said "Okay, I'm here! Let's make a music video!"
Something I randomly noticed is that Gackt's blue contacts are a similar shade to Andrea's eyes. She has those same really pale blue eyes with a dark ring around them. Weird neh? And I laughed a little when I saw the new scans of Miyavi on
jrock_scans. He had these gray blue contacts that are a shade lighter than mine! XD Wish he'd go back to his natural brown eyes, though, they're lovely. (BTW, who's the guy on their layout? I wanna find a better shot of his backpiece, it's beautiful!)
I WANNA START! XD After hanging out with the cosplay club and seeing all those cool costumes at AZ, I really wanna give it a try. It'll probably be pretty ghetto until I have the money to get proper materials, but I want to start getting some ideas about who I wanna cosplay. Schrodinger and Seras from Hellsing would be fun and I wouldn't have to worry about my hair because it's about the right length and color. I might not be able to pull off a good Seras though... My boobs are too small.
I'm thinking about growing my hair out... I really want to cosplay Mana but my hair's too short and I can't really afford a wig right now. Thankfully it grows pretty fast so I should have some sort of length by the December, I just have to keep track of it to make sure it all grows out at the same length (sorry, Em, no shaved sides. ^^). I'll probably die it black because I prefer that look over his blonde phase. Unless someone knows a good brand of dye that will take that shade of blue.
Now I just need about a hundred yards of satin and lace, a sewing machine and an army of singing mice... (or roaches..since it IS the South...).
I wanna start watching anime again!! XO Any suggestions from the audience? Aren't we watching Gurren Lagan in Kamakazi Sushi fall quarter? (Speaking of, I miss all my Sushi girls terribly!) I watched the first few episodes of Kino's Journey. That show is sooooo pretty!
I'm a little out of touch when it comes to anime recently... Did Adult Swim really put out Gaurdain of the Sacred Water Spirit. I can NEVER remeber the Japanese title for that one!
Bleh, I'm feeling sick.... XP I went to bed sooo early last night (9.40! Holy Crap!) but then I still ended up being awake at two. *sigh* I still feel a wee bit gross too..
Oh yeh, we're supposidly getting high speed AND wireless tomorrow, which is either a sign that God has taken pity on me or that the end of the world is nigh. Like I said on the Masa forum, it doesn't fix anything, but it at least makes it slightly more bearable.
