(no subject)
Went on a Boulder bus adventure today, for the first time this semester. It was cold last semester, and I didn't want to explore as much.
Anyway, I found this really big toy store, that was filled with like stuffed dinosaurs, and all sorts of neat things that I would have loved as a kid. It's right next to the comic book store, so I have also located that, and purchased some comic books. I guess Catwoman gets knocked up in the near future, I hope its Bruce's, but I have a feeling it might be the annoying old detective guy who shes friends with.
Oh a whim I asked the lady at the toy store for an application, and turns out they are hiring, so we'll see if I can't get a job of some sort. Cassie says that the secret to getting a job, is not being qualified, nor having the correct hours, but to call and bug them until they interview you.
After the interview you either know right away you'll get it, or not.
I went to a Muya Tai Class, which is like, highly arobic kickboxing. It was free, except I think the people who taught it were expecting me to sign up, which I'm probably not going to do, just because it costs $99.00 a month, and I am currently making $0.00 a month.
The guy who was teaching us was very charismatic, and had a really strong mexican accent, which I am a sucker for. I'm worried, because I'm not very good at saying no to people when they try to get me to sign up for things.
Tonight dinner was ribs and fried chicken, and cornbread. It was 'Soul food' night, and in one side of the cafeteria they were having an award thing for the guy they based Chef off of in SouthPark. Right now I'm really full of fried chicken.
I was trying to decide if the 'Soul Food' dinner was offensive or not, but it didn't really seem to bother the black couple next to me.
Oatmeal.
