(no subject)
So, i worked on cleaning more yesterday but i was running out of things to do and then carolyn came over. we listened to the new fall out boy cd. I guess i have mixed feelings about it. Some of the songs are just amazing. But some of them just don't show FOB's strong side. Like Dance Dance. I would like that song a lot better if it was by a different band. Patrick;s voice is just normal in it. And then there's a song near the end with a lot of loud screaming. I changed it. It made me mad. They aren't supposed to do that. I didn't like it. Patrick's voice is what sets FOB apart from a lot of the bands I listen to and to replace it with Pete's screaming was not ok with me. So i guess i'll have to listen to it more to decide how well i really like it as a whole. But i will say that some of the songs are just plain amazing.
we also watched garden state. so i saw it twice yesterday. and that's about enough of it for me for at least a year. it's cute and the soundtrack is awesome but it's just not amazing. so that's that.
we went and watched amelia's rugby game today and it was really exciting. Kathleen and Natalie showed up to but Natalie stayed with her dad on the other side of the field for most of it and kathleen complained about not knowing what was going on most of the time, in between talking about tanning and Gossip Girl. Meanwhile, i was watching intently trying to figure it all out and i think i got the idea. and it was great. I really wish i could have watched more and that i had gone to more games this season but i couldn't. next year.
I didn't get much sleep last night. we had a soccer game today. I'm sick. needless to say, i'm tired.
now it's 7:45 and i really need to start working on homework and getting things done in my life. i wanted to finish amelia's shirt tonight too. i have it drawn out in pencil now and i'm ready to paint it on there. it should be cool.
