The Grand Poobah
Mhmm so I played a Jazz gig last night at a Freemason guild thing.. it was totally weird they wore this pendants and had glass freemason symbols and like gave me weird looks and had strange hats and little apron things on their waists... it was so strange. Apparently, it was ladies night. funny thing is, they asked all the women in the room to leave before they did their freemason "business". This was as the Jazz combo was packing up, so I wasn't there when they conducted their business.. but I wanted to laugh outloud at them because just plainly the thought of "Ladies night" at the freemason's guild.. just too funny. Most of the cars outside had the little freemason symbols on their license plates..
I wanted to laugh at them the whole time because it was so different.. but I'm sure that they probably felt the same way about me looking so strange and different with purple hair.. oh well. I guess we subconciously and mutually agreed somehow not to do that.
Well weird or not I got paid 36 dollars for playing at the gig so that rocks heavy.. mucho dinero for a 45 minute gig of easy music.. well for me at least.. I'm used to not getting paid at all.
