To stimulate the economy
Is it just me or does anyone else think that the government sending all working Americans money to stimulate the economy, is retarded? I mean, they are pretty much just taking money from our back pocket, doing some distracting move with their right hand and then the money magically appears in their left hand. Where is that money coming from? Wouldn't there be an increased deficit from doing this?
What they are going to do is send a check for $600 to every person who earns under $1,000 a year and $1200 to every person supporting a family...to spend. Freaking idiots. I'm going to save it just to spite them...MAH! But for those of you who love to spend (like one of my friends who spent $600 in a week, A WEEK), I advise you to spend wisely and not on stupid expensive purses that aren't even worth the money. Usually, the more expensive a thing is, the more it tears or breaks or gets lost. Go figure.
