It's time for me to re-tube my 5150. I sure as fuck don't know how to do it myself so I have to take it in to Musician's Superstore and have it done. Some dude comes up to MS once a week and then re-tubes them at his house. I called the dude and he seems to know what he's talking about. I'm going to get a full re-tube done (preamp and poweramp tubes). It's going to run about 150-200 dollars, and I can't get it done till after the first of the year. I guess you're supposed to get it done every 6-10 months (at least the preamp tubes) but I've had my 5150 for 2 years and never had it done. I think it's about time. Oh yeah, i'm finishing up my Christmas shopping tonight. I'm going to the new Sears Grand for my dad's stuff, some store in the mall for my Dad's wife, Best Buy for a few random people, Smoker Friendly for Adam, some gift basket sellin' store in the mall for my Grandparents and I have no idea for my aunt and uncle. Should be good times.
