According to the Daily Mail from 13 Feb and this article from Upandcomers.net, Colin will be filming a big screen WW I biopic called "A Testament of Youth". His character, Victor Richardson, is a friend of the main character's brother ( Read more... )

No, not a huge part, but still exciting - and something different yet again - and yeah, talk about not wasting time announcing the next project!!

If he's going to be a military boy, I don't think he'll have much choice, tbh...

Honestly, I don't think you could keep him away from the theatre. He really does seem to get quite a charge out of the live audience environment. :)

I'm excited to see him constantly doing different things, not allowing himself to get pigeon-holed in any one thing.

I'd love to see him doing a romcom just for a change of pace. He does seem to like intense angsty things.

I don't worry about that. He loves doing theatre, so we will get to see him in something else on stage.

And after Merlin, I doubt he will tie himself to any project that will take up his whole year any time soon.

I knew it.

This week, there were two songs on the radio in one hour that I connect with Colin. Whenever that happens, news is not too far away.

Wheeeeeeeeeee! (And did you just hear my bank account taking a deep breath...a project that we might get on DVD and which doesn't require me going to London *grins*)

Taking a break just doesn't seem to be in his vocabulary...

Eeeeee! Kudos to you, sleuth! A period piece, and hopefully on DVD for us folks on the wrong damn continent! I also concur, "holiday" is not a word that fits into his vocabulary very well. Hope if he's staying dry if he's gone home to visit with his family before filming starts. The weather reports from Ireland (mainly the southern and western coasts but still, it's not that big an island) are really dire.
