This weekend was a whirlwind of driving taking my daughter to competitions this weekend.
The first was a state Choir competition. Our school takes the Junior High Select group and the High School Women's Choir every 2 years. Groups are judged on their own merit instead of against each other. Any Choirs that are given gold medals perform in a concert at Symphony Hall in Boston.

Two years ago, my daughter was in the Select Choir and won gold. Their group was AMAZING!

This year both the Junior High Select and the High School Women's won gold medals and will both appear at Symphony Hall!

Today, we went to the state Winter Percussion finals and their group finished third. :)
