oh my God, I can't believe it--I've never been this far away from home!
So tomorrow at 1:20 PM, I'm flying out of Omaha, landing in Chicago and Montreal and then making the great 6 hr 40 minute jump over the ocean to LONDON TOWN. ENGLAND. YEAH, THAT ONE.
I figured I should say so here, although I don't know what else to talk about! Today I dyed my hair blonde and did some errands. I had to go to the UNO library to print shit because I think I broke my mom's printer trying to install new ink. Someone else can deal with that later. I hate printers. But I got all my shit printed and my crap packed and I've got money (I got some British pounds yesterday--they look fake! It's awesome!) and YAY. ENGLAND.
I get into Heathrow at 7:30 AM London time, and I've got to take a journey to Terminal 4 to meet up with the rest of SuedeQuest (same people as ManicsQuest: Janelle newgeneration, Alyssa chuckjd and my superfriend Chesh cheshcan!) and then I guess we're going through Customs together? I actually don't know what's going on there. It'd make more sense, I suppose. Woteva!
I'm gonna miss my Sibling and my cats hardcore, but it's going to be awesome funtiemz. So far, I know we're seeing IAMX at the ULU on March 20 (Saturday) and SUEDE OH MY JESUSING CHRIST on March 24 (Wednesday) and MAYBE we're going to White Mischief on March 26th and we're going to Feeling Gloomy with Nicky at some point and I'm meeting up with Tim kanzakura at some point and we're going to look at all the old shit and I'm going to get water from the Thames and put it in a bottle and I'm going to take lots of pictures and go shopping on the High Street and eat fish'n'chips and run around Tesco looking at all the insane shit they put in cans and we're going on a Ripper Walk to see the seedy murderous underbelly of London and go to Westminster Abbey to visit Geoffrey Chaucer and say someting lewd to him and check out the erosion on Tower Bridge and I wish I could take all my friends with me! It's all going to be SO AWESOME.
So I don't fall back into a crippling depression once I return to the States, I've got a Florence + the Machine show on April 12 to look forward to. Yeahhhh, Chicago! I also do my first DJ gig with James on April 10. And I'll have to find a real job and do my taxes when I get back, but WHATEVER. ENGLAND!!
