Okay, so. Jess hasn't seen a concert since Kill Hannah in 2003. That's 3 years and a month since she saw a band live. Jess hates local music and belongs in London, so she only cares about concerts when there are extremely good bands involved.

Jess has discovered tonight two events that are occurring and she is very interested in both.

I bet I could convince my mom to let me drive to KC to see Placebo since it's the day after my birthday. And if you (and Smeg, I guess, since someone has to drive. Unless you get your license!) showed up, then it might not be an issue. Then again, I have no idea if that would work out at all, but it would be awesome if it did.
