take your defenses, put them away.

I'm really irritated for several disparate reasons. I'm hoping that if part of the problem is PMS that my period waits until after Tuesday to come, because I don't want to reschedule my gynecology appointment.

Monday - absolutely nothing to do. I need to vacuum my floor.
Tuesday - gynecology appointment at 1:30 PM. Wish me luck, pray something's fixed.
Wednesday - debate final at 4:00 PM. About halfway done with the review sheet and I still need to type up what I wrote of the town hall response paper/finish it.
Thursday - writing at 6:00 PM. I'll turn in my critical essay, provided I EVER RESTART IT, TYPE IT, AND GET IT COMPLETED. DX
Friday - Therapy at 3:00 PM.

I have until Saturday to take my online religion final, which will involve liberal use of my notes, book and Wikipedia.

On all my applications I've said that I could start work on either Thursday or Friday, but no one has yet made a motion to hire me. At Borders tonight I got a card to apply online, so I'll have four different jobs waiting on the back burners. I don't know which one I most want - World Market or Michaels, probably, because the Michaels job sounds like it'll just involve a few evenings of work a week, and the World Market job is just in a really cool shopping area. I'll take what I can get, though, and I still don't know how to wing having friends here this summer. :\

After my final food science test (YES I'M DONE - it was a hell of a lot easier than the past two tests and I think I did very well), Smeg and I went down to look at this bookstore that promises to buy back college textbooks and they will collect the ones I need for the fall if I give them a copy of my schedule. Well, that's what they say on this flyer. Sadly they were closed on Sunday, so later this week I'll return and find out how much they'll offer me. And how busy they are compared to the student center bookstore.

Then we got lost, found our way again (my internal compass got sadly turned around - Jess: "I don't know which way we're going! How did we end up on Pacific??" Smeg: "You have a pigeon brain, you'll figure it out in a minute!") and went to Borders, where I used a 30% off coupon to get the Timo Maas album. I like it so far - it's nice background noise, and I love the songs Brian Molko sings on!

I'm really tired. Maybe I'll get to bed before dawn tonight. X\ I don't really feel like doing anything at all.
