Happy Columbus Day. Celebrating the day a man discovered the wrong continent is always a good time in my book.

*eats fast food like the good little American she is* Mom's tired and Dad's (again!!!) in Indiana, so we brought home Wendy's. I went to Kohl's with her and got a soft yellow sweater and a nice pair of jeans and another shirt like one I have that was on clearance. I got a deep-pink-with-Mylar feather boa at Walgreens - you know I can't resist the Boa.

Yup, consumerism and consuming fat-laden vittles. I feel so patriotic. *teary eyes* If only I'd bought one of those tacky ribbon magnets to slap on my car that says something about These Colors not Running or one about Supporting our Troops in Iraq. Seems to me those boys have been there for ages now. When do they get to come home? Do we -still- not trust the poor country to establish its own government or what?

I really, really love this icon. Lately, Neil Gaiman has appeared in all of my dreams. I think I have a problem. I DID just finish rereading Good Omens, though. And next week, he's hosting Fox's 13 Nights of Fright, every night at 10 p.m. eastern time until Halloween. And you'll all watch, because you love Neil, too.

Hmm. Mostly I'm updating because SOME PEOPLE wish for more things to read on their friends pages, and I don't blame them. Last night, I actually WROTE AN ESSAY. 3 more to go! I have to write one more to send in the current test, though. It's about cities and it sux0rs. I hope Smeg or someone can help me find stuff to write about - I started to do so last night and was having trouble.

Chesh and I also wrote, speaking of incredible things that have happened. Go us!

Okay, I hope this is enough for you guys, 'cos I don't have anything else to say.
