seems we were lookin' for to find all the little things we left behind.

I really love this song.

Okay, I figure I may as well update since everyone on AIM is idle/not there, and I may fall asleep soon because I have pretty much been awake since 5 a.m. and my head ACHES. Oy.

This morning, I registered at http://www.crayola.com and am glad I did, if only because I ♥ crayons. You can make your own custom box of up to four colors and buy it for $8.99! Isn't that wild?? I want a box of red-orange, orange, purple heart and jazzberry jam. It'd be so hot.

And I looooooooove you from the cradle to the graaaaaaave!

Then I went to bed around 10, even though I'd slept from 1 to 5, because I was still tired and thought I should sleep. Well, after I listened to Spacehog and tried to write. I wrote a list of things that can be both red and green because in Sandman 9 (The Kindly Ones), Delirium mentions that she has a word that means both red and green. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW this word, so if you know if it exists or not, please clue me in. It'd make me very happy and I have at least 12 places one could use it.

So I got hungry and gave up sleeping around noon because I smelled that Mom made a pizza and went to eat some. She's been kind of bitchy today, which sucks. Smeg got up soon after and we took down the hideous dusty pathetic excuses for window valances in our breakfast nook and took them apart and took down the blinds and wiped those down. Well, Smeg did that. I threw the disgusting unhemmed pieces of multicolored checkered/striped watermelon print (ugly as it sounds and moreso!) fabric into the wash, and I cleaned the porch windows and wet-vacuumed some more cat vomit in the library doorway. Smeg came out and helped me finish the porch, which is now very clean. We needed to do that anyway.

This is why I'm really tired. I showered and ate and Smeg and I played some Mario Kart and Dad came home and we chewed the fat with him about math and a mutual hatred of the Republican party and why we're going to vote for Kerry anyway even if he kind of sucks. He CAN'T suck as much as Bush, can he?? God, I hope not!

Oh. And Mom has signed Smeg and me up for driver's education in November. You knew it was coming sometime. We go... three Saturdays then and one in December. 5 hours each time, equaling 20 hours of my life better spent sleeping or sliming around the web. We knew it was inevitable. I have to get my permit renewed though. And I'm taking the ACT on October 23rd, so that's why we couldn't driver-educate ourselves then. Le sigh.

There are soooo many things I really could be writing. I feel really, REALLY guilty. I mean personal writing. I could be writing a disco/club scene where I introduce one of my boys to a new friend, I could be writing about the Sweater Women, I could be writing the hijra boy story, and I could be writing the Sudanese story. WHY AM I NOT WRITING? Because my head hurts and I just don't want to. Stuff is floating around my head, but it isn't like, BEGGING to come out. It's not really flowing. Just being there. Damn my luck.

Tomorrow, Dad is taking a half day off and we're probably going to see this Titanic exhibit at the children's museum, because it closes soon and on Tuesday, he's flying out to Houston, because his job sucks. And Mom has Jury Duty starting on Wednesday, so HER life sucks and Smeg and I will probably just roll around the house writing essays and playing Mario Kart. Maybe I'll bake another pie. I really need to go to SuperTarget, where Smeg will acquire her messenger bag and I will get my CEREAL.

Last night, Smeg, Sally, Megan and I went to El Mall and I bought black knee socks with adorable green ribbon bows on them and a HIM notebook. Fangirl? Where? Smeg got the 'Don't Make Me Go Zelda On You' T-shirt we've been coveting. I bought Mom a $2 ceramic tomato at this neat cooking store. I want to see the new Hot Topic at Placething Mall. Oh, how I love Hot Topic.

School Checklist, just so you guys don't get jealous and think my life is all sleep and cookies (I DO extend my empathies to all people enslaved by the public school system -- you'll make it, guys!! I have faith in you all!):

- Chapter 13 in Spanish.
- Chapter 14 in Spanish.
- Lesson 6 Spanish test.
- Part 2 test in Spanish.
- entire Lesson 6 English test.
- entire Part 2 English test.
- 4 essays for Lesson 6 Science test.
- 5 essays for Part 2 Science test.

Okay, I guess that's not that much, but it's a lot of essays!! Dammit! Whatever.

Stupid QAF calendar. Smeg just got to flip to the infamous Nicolai Souldrool kissing Justin, after a whole month of the damn lesbians, and when I flip to September, what do I get? THE LESBIANS. ARRRRRRRRR. >(

I have so many handiwork projects I could be doing, too. Damn life.

There's some stuff about Sally and Megan's mom being insane I could mention, too, but for their sake, I shan't. Suffice to say she's REALLY FUCKING NUTTY. HOLY GOD. :o

I'm not sure if that's any better. I'm just tired of this entry now. Comment or I'll burn your car.
