a nice day and a sad night.
I didn't sleep today, because I couldn't. I spent most of it talking to Smeg about various things, and I started an English essay and wrote a whole science essay! Just two more and I'm done with the lesson 3 test. Which means: another test to do. Hoo.
I was painting a mini-project when Mom asked if we wanted to go out to eat, and I said sure, because I wanted to leave the house all day. We went to Chili's and it was fine. No mention of college or anything! Then we went to Borders and stopped at the grocery store. I wish I had a CD to look for. I even looked at DVDs, but I couldn't find anything Donovan Leitchy (not even Love Kills, which I really want to own!), so it was fruitless. I did get Huevos Verde con Jamón por Medico Seuss, which is as much fun as it sounds like it is. No me gusta huevos verde con jamón! No me gusta, Juan Ramón!
This is how it got sad: We arrived home about 20 minutes ago to find that Venus in Furs, the lovely indigo betta that replaced Marc Bolan, had expired. It happened so fast! Fish are the most disheartening pets in the world - they're not made to last. :( Rest in peace, beloved pescado. ><)))0> (it's wearing a halo, see? pretend for me.)
That's all, really. I was attached to that fish. Mickey had better not die for a long time.
