So who had a really great day today? That would be me. To begin with - a surprisingly good night of sleep. Yes, it was really hot and we had kick-ass thunderstorms last night, but I put on the a/c and snuggled under the covers. Bliss.
Okay, I was a tad queasy this morning but I always get worked up over nothing. Went to my appointment with my nurse practitioner which was just a fully clothed chatty check on my health. She's awesome. Her daughter asks after me - "how's your patient with the Barbie dolls?" How cute is that? So after my 1/2 hour there, I cross the street...
...to Marino's Restaurant. Where I meet up with caerwynx and we proceed to have lunch. For three hours. We are Ladies Who Lunch. And we like buffets. Next time there will be shopping, mark my words. Because I must hang out with her again.
Then it's off to the chiro. No perverted stories today. After that I walked over to The Art Store which gave me all sorts of ideas even though I didn't buy anything. Stopped for a smoothie. Wow, I haven't had a smoothie in so long and it's fruitilicious. Then to Bed & Bath where I buy a second set of the fab sheets because I have a coupon as well as a closet organizer because it seemed to be marked with the wrong price (unless there is a valid reason why the blue was $15 and the pink was $10) so I couldn't resist.
Came home and opened all the windows. The temp's just right and it's all sunny with a little breeze and I don't have to go to work till Monday and I can't stop smiling.
