Sissi und Franz
Старые-старые и знаменитые-знаменитые фильмы про Сисси я посмотрела только на прошлой неделе. Ну, так чтоб полностью, и все три.
Между прочим, это было самое правильное время: как выяснилось, в Германии и австрии фильмы про Сисси показывают каждый год под Рождество. не знаю почему под Рождество, наверно потому что принцесса Елизавета Баварская родилась в сочельник.
жила баварская принцесса себе 16 лет, кактлась на лошади да запивала баварским пивом баварские колбаски как положено настоящей баварке
а потом встретила - нифига, не принца, а сразу ни много ни мало императора!
и смотрела я на эту очаровательнейшую, милейшую до идеальности парочку и думала: это ж надо было чтоб так повезло, чтобы монаршие особы женились по любви, и к тому же чтобы с дипломатической точки зрения этот брак устраивал ну абсолютно всех - если не считать конечно принцессы Хелены Баварской.
ну неважно с точки зрения художественной, насколько тут все приукрашенно. что семейная жизнь у настоящих Сисси и Франца не сложилась - ибо, это-то впрочем в фильме показано, мать императора Елизавете совсем жизнь заела - и принцесса императрица Австро-Венгрии (ключевое слово Венгрия) фактически "такая-сякая сбежала из дворца". с Францем вели нежную переписку до самой ее кончины. а он дожл до Первой Мировой - и я с ужасом поняла, что это над этим самым красавцем Францем потешались в "Бравом солдате Швейке"!!!
но согласитесь, об этом совсем не хочется думать.
потому что когда я смотрела фильм, я поняла что это наверное первая комедия, настоящая комедия, о настоящей императорской семье. именно так. я же не только умилялась, я хохотала до упаду. м я подумала, что это отличный урок кинематографистам - редко ведь снимают потрясающие комедии не про современность. обычно либо в лучшем случае исторический боевик (лет в 10 я говорила что это мой любимый жанр, между прочим!), ну или приключения, либо костюмная драма, в таких мелодраматизм шкалит а посмеяться не над чем.
а тут с одной стороны - умора, а с другой - одна из прекраснейших и трогательнейших пар в истории кино.
а еще я угадала два факта:
1) Франц был старше Сисси на 7 лет
2) я снчала удивилась, до чего же Сисси похожа на мать. а потом увидела в титрах "Магда Шнайдер" и - ну конечно, это мама Роми!
p.s. а тут коротко и на удивление понятно написано про фильм, про Елизавету, и про исполнителей главных ролей - правда, на немецком. зато там кадр из фильма где Франц и Сисси в потрясающе красивых венгерских костюмах, мне этот момент очень понравился. если б я нашла эту фотку в более приличном качестве - вставила бы в этот пост вместо той что ниже ;)
It was only last week when i finally saw all the three movie about Kaiserin Sissi - i guess i did it in a very suitable time, since i read that in Germany and Austria the movies are usually shown at Christmas time.
i don't know why, but maybe that's because Princess Elizabeth of Bavaria was born on Christmas Eve?
and so the little Bavarian princess had been living happily for 16 years, riding her beloved horsed, and eating bavarian sausages with bavarian beer as any true bavarian would
until she met - no, not even Prince Charming, but no less than Emperor Charming!
and i was admiring this lovely lovely couple and thinking: how amazingly lucky they were, that they were a princess and an emperor, who got married because they really loved each other, and that even from the political/diplomatic point of view everyone was perfectly happy with this marriage - except for the poor Princess Helene of Bavaria, of course.
and from the point of view of art it doesn't matter at all whether it was like that in real life or not - and it was not qiute like that. in fact, the love story that began so beautifully ended up in an unhappy marriage, with the Emperess literally escaping from Vienna and the strict rules of the court, and hardly appeared there again. however, Franz and Sissi wrote each other moving letters till her assassination at the age of 60 - while Franz lived up to WWI, and i was shocked to realize that the kaiser that was mocked in "The Good Soldier Švejk" was actually this very same gorgeous Franz!
but really, who wants to think about that when watching such a movie?
i was touched and was charmed by them - and at the same time, i was laughing my head off, since the movie is actually a comedy, and perfectly funny comedy! and that is also a lesson for cinematography: because i've no idea why, but if the movies is not set in modern times, it's an action/adventure in the best case (when i was 10 i considered 'historical action' my favorite genre!), or a costume drama, with its hypermelodramatism and little laugh.
and here you're laughing till you cry - but if you cry, you do because they're such an amazingly moving couple, these Sissi and Franz!
i also guessed 2 facts:
1) Franz Joseph was 7 years older than Elizabeth
2) i was amazed how Sissi and Sissi's mother looked alike and when i saw 'Magda Schneider' among the actors' names there could be no doubt - she really was Romy's mother!
p.s. а HERE is a short and amazingly easy to understand article in German about the movie and the Empress, and both leading actors. it also contains a shot from my favorite moment when Sissi and Franz are wearing the gorgeously beautiful Hungarian costumes - if i found the pic in a better quality and resolution, i would have undoubtedly posted it here instead of the picture i used above.
